Denmother Jane Doe, (later potentially going by Jane Doe-Lumpus) is a recurring character of the series. Near the end of the series, she becomes Algonquin Lumpus's wife.
About Jane Doe[]
Jane's the female scout leader or Denmother of the Squirrel Scouts, and her assistant is Ms. Rubella Mucus (Jill Talley.) Jane is very kind and friendly and has a positive, motherly attitude, but she can occasionally get frustrated, ditsy and scatterbrained. She lives in Acorn Flats with her scouts and Ms. Mucus. Jane is also very conventionally girly and tries, often unsuccessfully, to be a feminine influence on the very tomboyish Squirrel Scouts.
She's totally oblivious to the fact that Scoutmaster Lumpus (Tom Kenny) is infatuated with her. She also can't seem to remember Slinkman's name at times, as she refers to him as "the slug" or as "Lumpus's pet slug." She once almost ate a sandwich made with poisonous hemlock berries but was "saved" by Lumpus. In that same episode, she's also revealed to be the head of a Rock Buckskin fan club for Squirrel Scouts, the only member beneath her being Almondine (also voiced by Jodi Benson.)
In her first appearance, she was fishing in Leaky Lake with huge success to Lumpus' annoyance. It's revealed that she once won a beauty pageant, but only because she was the only contestant. She nonetheless remember this very proudly. Ms. Doe's also talented at unicycling, juggling and plate-spinning simultaneously. On occasions when she is pushed too far, she may explosively respond.
Jane Doe has short blonde hair, a blue shirt, a blue beret, and brown shoes.
