Mike Roth (born 1974 or 75) is the one of writer of Camp Lazlo. He grew up in Allentown, and would discover an interest for drawing, eventually taking art classes. He would graduate from Allen High School in 1993, and would attend Kulztown University to study elementary education, while taking animation as an elective. Roth increasingly got interested in animation, to the point where his teacher suggested he go to an art school. He would then attend the School of Visual Arts, eventually graduating.
After college, he would work for Nickelodeon's movies, helping animate Rugrats in Paris, Rugrats Go Wild, The Wild Thornberrys Movie and the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. He would then start working on Cartoon Network shows, such as Camp Lazlo, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and currently, Regular Show. Roth also wrestles in his free time.
He resides in Los Angeles, California, with his son.
