"Swimming Buddy" is a Camp Lazlo episode from season 1. In this episode, The Bean Scouts take a swimming test. But there's one problem: Raj can't swim. Clam and Lazlo have to find a way to get Raj swimming.

- Lazlo seems to get in trouble with all the camp counselors (even the lifeguards).
- There are two possible reasons why Raj cannot swim:
- He is afraid of water.
- It is mentioned in The Big Cheese that the Kafizzle River near his home village is acidic. Thus, if there was nothing Raj could swim in, he never learned how to swim.
- He is afraid of water.
- This episode shows that Raj has aquaphobia.
- This episode marks the first appearance of the Lifeguards.
- This is the first time Lazlo, Clam and Raj cross-dress as Squirrel Scouts.
